Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained (or 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen green beans)
Optional: 1 tsp smoked paprika or chili flakes for extra flavor
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
Lightly grease the inside of your crockpot.
Layer half the sliced potatoes on the bottom of the crockpot.
Add half of the cooked ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
Spoon half of the soup mixture over the beef.
Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.
Add the green beans as the next layer.
Repeat the layers: potatoes, ground beef, soup mixture, and finish with cheese on top.
Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving for easier scooping.
